- heard about it in the G&M by fellow who aimed at reading a book a day for a year so he had to pick short books
- a Belgian girl born in Japan returns to polish her Japanese and find a job in Tokyo takes up with a young Japanese guy. A little bit too introspective, she likes the guy but does not love him. Interesting arms length relationship. Good scenes when she goes hiking in the mountains and becomes lost. She eventually leaves him and returns to Belgium to live with her beloved sister, Sees him once again at a book signing. 7/10
